改好後 press ALT+F2, press r, press enter
就可以看到效果

加入天氣顯示：

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/gnome3
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions-common

sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions-weather

到進階設定把它設為 on

找城市代碼：http://www.weather.com/outlook/weatherbycountry/taiwan-t （代碼在網址列）

Linux mint 11 可以升級 Linux mint 12 嗎 ? 還是要重灌呢 ?

方法一: Linux Mint 官方 推薦的方法
A "Fresh" upgrade consists of the following steps:
Making a backup of the data
Making a backup of the software selection
Performing a fresh installation using the liveCD of the new release
Restoring the data
Restoring the software selection
註：這個方法 我還沒試 但是 官方推薦這個方法
如果 有網友 採用這個方法 更新成功 請推薦一下

方法二: 較接近 ubuntu 的方法 但是 問題還很多 除非你想研究 暫不推薦你用此方法
Upgrade an existing Mint using apt
1. Open a terminal and run 'sudo bash' to get a root terminal
2. Using a text editor (as root), replace the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list with the following sources list: /etc/apt/sources.list (extracted from Linux Mint 12 DVD ISO)
3. Run 'apt-get update'
4. Run 'apt-get dist-upgrade'
Follow the instructions issued, don't worry about overwriting configuration files dpkg will keep a copy in the same directory with the string ".dpkg-old" appended to the filename
5. Run 'apt-get upgrade'
6. Reboot
註：這個更新方法 我試了兩天 仍然 未完全成功

我安裝在msi u160的筆電上 無法用無線網路.沒有驅動程式,目前找不到deb的檔案 請問 有什麼方法嗎？還有 我參考三秒緯的網站 安裝了gcin,java.google瀏覽器有興趣的朋友 也可以參考一下！！

試試：
1.alt + f2
2.輸入 pkill mate-panel

to:asd1206謝謝你！ 照你的方法 解決了mate的問題,但是 內建的無線網路裝了上述的deb檔會顯示安裝了重複檔案 反而是我外接的一個無線網卡可以使用了 (asus-ieee802.11b/g 54mbps)
