On my Kubuntu 6.06,all bitmap files whose color depth is 16 bpp can't be displayed normally,even in Konqueror and Gwenview. But 8/24/32 bpp BMP display is OK. And on my workmate's ubuntu 5.10,16 bpp BMP also can be displayed correctly.
Anybody who use Kubuntu 6.06,can try this issue on your linux? I am not sure it is Kubuntu 6.06's bug OR only my install's problem?
