Hi. The pre-installed version of FireFox in ubuntu is about 1.0.7, now the newest version is 1.5.0.1, so I downloaded the package from the offical site.
Then, what should I do? I cannot find out how to install FireFox in ubuntu. And my second question, how to install packages on my hard disk? For example, I downloaded OpenOffice.org 2.0.1, then what should I do to install it? Thanks...

建議你可以參考這篇文章，並注意不要移除原來安裝好的 1.0.7 版本。 https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FirefoxNewVersion
