其實Linux大部分的桌面
不管是Unity也好、Gnome也一樣
像我有時候會小小的抱怨一下
不過跟Win比起來我是寧願用這些桌面的
如果是KDE的方便與華麗或是LXDE的輕巧與快速就更不用說了
Linux桌面的多樣性是當初Linux最吸引史嘟的地方
一直到現在都還是
話說Amarok也有Win版的(不過我沒用過就是了 )
自由軟體遠征來解放不自由的系統哈哈

1.Compiz Fusion 我也很討厭 沒效率 又容易當
2.unity 也是我討厭的桌面 對著它 我很無奈 找不到我想要的東西 即然開了桌面，當然要簡單好用，若要背一堆快速鍵，不如丟到垃圾筒去

還記得 我剛裝好ubuntu 11.04 11.10 12.04beta
unity 一直努力讓自己能接受它，但是無奈，對我而言，實在太難用
這種桌面不會是我現在要的桌面，我寧可ctrl +alt +F1
切到TTY1 也比Unity好用

這點我再同意不過了！

the APT and the Synaptic Package Manager

但是這點我還蠻喜歡它
原因是 跟suse 、gentoo、redhat fedola比起來
它的安裝或升級，實在簡單好用多了
或許有時候會出狀況
但是熟悉它就好

redhat fedola 後來才有yum
我熟它十多年 現在極討厭它
套件相依做得很差
並且 很多東西要自己編譯 功能才會出現

suse是痛恨 花了錢 又難以update 整個系統就是個笑話 肥死了

gentoo 是累死人 emerge 是在燃燒生命

年紀大了 ubuntu 比較適合退休養老用 哈~~~~~

Compiz的悲劇我到是沒遇過
也許是人品好吧
至於Unity的話...其實我也沒有長期使用
不太敢幫她下結論
不過快捷鍵只是提供的使用方式之一而已
並非用Unity就一定要用快捷鍵操作
也不是每一個人都討厭快捷鍵
前一陣子我也蠻瘋Tilling WM的
它們都或多或少要背一點快捷鍵
但使用起來很方便也很實用又很省資源(當然省資源的不是Unity)
這也是Linux很棒的一點,大家都可以使用自己喜歡的桌面
誰也不用強迫誰,Unity對蠻多新手來說可是很有吸引力的

2-7. Ubuntu App Developer Site incremental improvements
Building upon the foundations of the initial Ubuntu App Developer site, we’d like to expand it on a second design phase.
2-8. App Developer external outreach
We want to increase the visibility and awareness of Ubuntu app development outside of the regular Ubuntu channels.
2-9. MyApps submission experience and expectations for upstreams
Review the current process and identify which parts of the documentation need to be improved. Also figure out what specifically we expect from upstreams and which help the ARB can provide.
2-10. Advertise new apps in the Software Center
Promote the availability of new apps in the Software Center, both in USC itself and through other channels, to raise awareness of apps targeting Ubuntu

Install Lenses and Scopes in Ubuntu 12.04 [Wikipedia, Flickr, Grooveshark, Spotify and More]











A Lens adds an extra new category to Unity dash allowing you to find specific results from local sources, web and even do calculations.

A Scope adds a new source to an existing lens. For example, you can add Flickr scope as an extra source in Photo Lens.

In simple words, you need a Lens to look into specific data sources called scopes.
