The new Linux display driver, 319.49, is actually an update for the Long Lived Branch, which means that it will probably get picked up in most of the repositories out there.

The main purpose of these drivers is to add support for a few new GPU chipsets, such as GeForce GT 740A, GeForce GT 745A, GeForce GT 755M, GeForce GT 625, GeForce GTX 645, GRID K340, GRID K350, NVS 315, and Quadro K500M.
