Yes, Ubuntu supports USB 3.0.
Linux started supporting USB 3.0 in the September 2009 release of the 2.6.31 kernel, and Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala was the first version of Ubuntu to support USB 3.0. 但是 還有一些 issues 或 bugs .............................................................................................................................. Sata 3 drives not detected during install (ubuntu lucid OS) need to change the BIOS Hard disk mode from IDE to AHCI! So switching from IDE to ACHI worked. However had to switch all 3 of the SATA Controllers to ACHI to get it to work. Just switching the Sata3 Controller didn't work. 需要從 bios 把 全部的 SATA 設定 改爲 ACHI 當然 硬碟上的 跳針設定 要設爲 SATA III
